Whether you are a food service worker, a janitor or a laundry worker, you provide a vital service that deserves to be rewarded. Our work may be behind the scenes, but without it our country's businesses, schools, stadiums, convention centers and public buildings simply wouldn't function. SWU fights to eradicate poverty-wages and unjust treatment by organizing workers and fighting to create good jobs with healthcare so that workers and their families can have a brighter future. We believe that's good for everyone.

Our union allows us to join together--not just at our worksite, but across the country and even across the globe--with other workers who are also fighting for good wages, affordable health care, and dignity on the job.
